Paws Park is situated on 2-acres inside Little Rock's idyllic Murray Park. Located beside the state's iconic Arkansas river trail, this dog park is not only a great place for dogs but for their human companions as well! Paws Park was the first off-leash dog park to be created in the city of Little Rock and we could not make a list of Little Rock's best dog parks without giving Paws an honorable mention. The dog park is shaded by the surrounding forest and features picnic tables and bench seating so you can relax in nature as your pup makes some new friends!

2. MacArthur 'Unleashed' Dog Park

Location: Downtown Little Rock

At just over 2-acres, the MacArthur "Unleashed" Dog Park is one of Little Rock's premier off-leash dog parks. Located in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, this modern park features fun obstacles for your dogs to explore, with a separate gated area for small dogs. The two separate areas keep small dogs safe while allowing larger dogs to have fun romping about. 1. Barks and Rec Dog Park at Burns Park

Location: North Little Rock

Hours: 6am - Midnight

After the former Burns Park dog park was destroyed in the tragic flood in May of 2019, the city got to work and created what is now known as the Barks and Rec dog park! The off-leash dog area is situated in the gigantic 1,700 acre Burns Parks, which features an amusement park, tennis courts, soccer fields and access to the idyllic Arkansas river trail which runs through a large portion of the park. The dog area features two separate, fully-fenced areas with an area specifically for the pups of smaller stature. Both areas feature large dog runs with luscious grass and beautiful trees for your furry friend to frolic through. With so much to keep both you and your dog entertained, Barks and Rec are without a doubt Little Rock's premier dog park.
